CHAIR believes UV technology is key to cost effective transformation of community and healthcare spaces including schools, hospitals and long term care.

Biologically Clean Rooms

CHAIR recommends continuous or high frequency automated room disinfection to achieve a Target Contamination Level (TCL) of <5 CFU / m³ in air and <0.5 CFU / cm² on surfaces in healthcare spaces.

ARD can be achieved with frequent (several times per day) or continuous GUV disinfection of air and surfaces.

ARD should be augmented with source control including self-disinfecting surfaces and self-disinfecting sinks and drains.
